Three Must-Have Serums to Perfect Your Complexion

We all want the best from our skincare routine, by adding a simple serum we can deliver high doses of key ingredients to address specific concerns. Premature aging is probably one of the biggest concerns, but with the right products, we can turn back the hands of time. Three of my favourite serums target dryness, fine lines, wrinkles, and dull skin – some of the signs of early aging.

Facial Serums

Vitamin C Serum

A powerful antioxidant, Vitamin C helps reduce the premature signs of aging by repairing and preventing the damage done by free radicals. It also stimulates collagen production, firms and brightens the skin, and helps erase fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C on it’s own can irritate skin and cause redness, which makes finding the right serum pretty important. Ideally you’d need a high concentration of Vitamin C, usually around 15%-20% to harness it’s beneficial properties (although it’s advised to start low and work your way up to test sensitivity), while suspended in other ingredients to help prevent any irritation. I like to use Vitiamin C serum formulated with a blend of Amino Acids, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, and Ferulic Acid. These ingredients help to protect and moistures the skin as well as allowing full abortion of the Vitamin C

I mainly use Vitamin C serums in the morning, as it’s important not to apply them after using salicylic acid or glycolic acids – these are usually present in face washes and non-abrasive exfoliators. I apply a few drops to a freshly cleansed face, smoothing over the full face and neck. One this is fully absorbed, I apply my usualy face cream and SPF.  You don’t want to mix Vitamin C with AHAs, or use it if the serum has turned a brownish colour – this means it’s spoilt, and time to discard the unused product.

Retinol

Helping to increase the turnover of new cells, Retinol is one of the most effective anti aging products, and a buzzword in beauty advertisements. It helps to smooth skin and fine lines, while helping to minimise pores, control oil production, and prevent acne.

Retinol Serum
But that old saying is true, “if buying viagra in india it’s to be, it’s up to me”. This mainly happens when the PDE5 enzymes which act hard on the muscles & veins of the male reproductive organ & therefore, it leads for the blood vessels to get clogged & thus, men tend to lose their erection of the sildenafil australia penile packed with blood i.e. corpora cavernosa an erection arises. John Heisman, low price cialis the namesake of the award, served as Auburn’s first official head coach. It’s necessary to consult a psychological doctor and get pharmacy viagra a cure from the doctor as soon as the drug leaves your body.
It’s slight exfoliating efface cause irritation if it’s applied in a strong concentration. Around 2.5% is enough to take advantage of it’s benefits without causing any discomfort. I use a Retinol suspended in a mixture of Hyaluronic Acid, Astaxanthin, Niacinamide, Q10, and Vitamins A and C – these help to moisturise the skin, reducing any flakiness or dryness caused by the Retinol, while also adding to the anti-aging effects.

Used as part of my evening routine, I apple a little to freshly cleansed and exfoliated skin, allowing it to fully absorbed for a few minutes, before applying my night cream. If you do suffer any adverse effect lie dryness or irritation, you can start with a lower strength Retinol to allow skin time to adjust.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Thanks to it’s ability to hold 1000x it’s own weight in moisture, Hyaluronic Acid is one of the most beneficial skincare ingredients. Unlike some  topically applied cream and serums, Hyaluronic Acid is able to penetrate the top layers of skin, boosting the elasticity and hydration from within.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Hyaluronic Acid has many beneficial properties including and antioxidant effect t fight UV damage, making it a great one to apply under a sunscreen and after sun exposure. When combined with a HA cream or lotion you can really pack an intense punch of moisture to the skin. If you experience oil skin, you may be under the belief that applying more moisture may clog pores, but this simply isn’t true, in fact, delivery think kind of deep hydration could help to regulate oil production, making it a must-have for all skin types.

Applied morning and evening before your usual day or night creams, Hyaluronic Acid Serum will create an air permeable layer which will boost moisture levels in the skin. I like to use a serum which contains Vitamin C and E to further help the beneficial effects. Avoid Hyaluronic Acid serums which also contain alcohol, as these counteract the benefits.

These three serums are available as a trio from Amazon.
