Designers at Debenhams: 2016 Autumn Edit

The leaves are falling, there’s a chill in the air, Autumn has arrived, and with it so have the new season’s collections from the Designers At Debenhams.

I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on my favourite pieces from designers including Hammond & Co by Patrick Gant, J by Jasper Conran, and RJR John Rocha to put together some Autumn looks.

For a casual and slightly preppy style, I’ve teamed the wardrobe staple white t-shirt with grey wool bomber jacket, slim leg jeans, and white leather sneakers. The slimmer silhouette gives this look a younger feel, while the rich texture of wool and lather still keep it sophisticated.

While a two-piece suit is an easy go-to, it’s always nice to mix and match jackets and pants to create a smart and quirky look that’s more “you”. Here’s I’ve taken a classic white shirt, layered with a navy grey wool checked blazer, navy textured trousers, and leather brogues. Don’t forget the details – here I’ve added an oxblood pocket square.

To create a smart/casual look for this season, I’ve chose a deep red textured shirt, tan wool and cashmere coat, dark slim fit salvage denim jeans, and tan leather Chelsea boots. This look is so versatile – to smarten, add wool trousers, or for a more relaxed feel replace the shirt with a jumper.

The Designers At Debenhams collections also include practical pieces, such as this polka dot print dressing gown for lazy days around the house, and stationary like this luxurious leather bound diary by Jasper Conran, perfect to start planning for the new year ahead.
